20ID finished up 2002 with a win over Dreadlords on TWL to keep our #1 spot. Good game DL. Now we get a week or 2 to relax and stuff \o/
Next year it looks like BF1942 is gonna kick into high gear, as regular seasons for CAL and TWL start. We've improved alot in BF1942 over the past 3 months, and we plan to stick it to our opponents in 2003 :D
Oh yeah, that loss to D2D was our 50th loss on our records too. Well, at least the 50th loss for a 20ID team that I created and lead :P So yeah. 50 losses and we're still around! Booyeah. |

Well, last night we were supposed to have our TWL rematch with Demise, but it seems things went wrong from the very beginning. End result: a dispute over servers, and Demise refuses to play a rescheduled game, so the match gets cancelled. Here's the story:
First off, I neglected to post our server IP 48 hours before the game, because Maher and co. knew our server IPs, and I thought they were a friendly bunch. Maher posts after the deadline that all 3 rounds must be played on his server (where demise gets a significant ping advantage). Needless to say we were a little pissed.
Anyways, me and karmann talked to Maher, and told him we'd get a different (and better) server up, Gid's Atlanta server. Maher said that server was great and AGREED to play all 3 rounds on that server. Things seemed good at that point, and we were looking forward to a fair match. On match night, we start on Gid's server, and pings are fair. Unfortunately, the server crashed near the end of the round (when the pic was taken).
At this point, Maher totally reversed his agreement, and tried to get us to play the remainder of the match on his server, where pings aren't fair. We got Gid's server back up 2 minutes after the crash, but he still refused to play there. 20ID offered to play round 2 on demise's server and round 3 on ours, but still Maher refused, he wanted all 3 rounds on his server. So we had a server dispute going, and we contacted the admins. The admins eventually reached a decision that the match would be rescheduled and played on a neutral server offered by TotalCarnage, a senior admin. However, Maher didn't like his ping on the server (it still would have been fair ping as 20ID pinged the same), so he refused the server. Unable to solve the dispute, the admins cancelled the match.
Basically, we're pissed at Maher's duplicity. He acts friendly and makes an agreement about servers, and then proves his word means nothing and tries to force a different agreement on us, all the while flexing the fact that he is a TWL admin. All we wanted was a somewhat fair match that didn't involve 3 rounds of ping rape... and Maher refused every compromise I gave him. I wasn't really happy with the TWL admins' decisions on the matter because they didn't really give me a chance to present my side of the dispute, but I was willing to accept the reschedule on a neutral server, and the ruling they made on the round 1a score. It's too bad that Maher wanted his server so badly, because now we don't get to play them. |

| Yup, our first Cal loss was against D2D on Iwo Jima. Very good playing on D2D's part, definitely caught us off guard. Next time we will be sure to be prepared. Luckily this is only preseason >:() |

Hey all, 20ID got the featured clan title thing at bfcentral.com. Check it out at http://www.bfcentral.com/featured_clan9.php.
On a similiar note, I am very sore for not being mentioned let alone included in the interview. God Inc will feel my wrath. Expect upcoming news with interviews that only I participate in. |

2 more wins: over hk on OGL, and over Geno on TWL. Good games.
We have a trio of matches after the weekend: vs NCG on CAL, vs tB on OGL, and vs SM for the #1 rank on TWL. We're also in this SquadGames tourney, and the new TWL league (as well as their ladder). Holy crap, that's like 5 leagues. We might be recruiting a guy or 2 to give us enough players to handle this, but as usual it will be invite only :> |

2 more back to back wins this week... On Wednesday night we met OCT on the OGL ladder. They put up a bigger fight than we expected (most OGL clans don't seem to be very good), but we still came out on top in both maps. Also, tonight we defeated Warchild and moved up to the #8 rung on the TWL ladder. Unfortunately for them, they were short 1 or 2 players for most of the game... as a result, 20ID didn't have too much trouble beating them. Good games OCT and Warchild.
Our match against 101st Airborne this weekend is cancelled because they dropped out of BF1942 play :/ We still have a lot to keep us busy though. We challenged Genocide (the same clan from 3-4 years ago in AQ2 but with different faces) for #3 on the TWL ladder, and we have to defend our #1 spot on the OGL ladder in a rematch against Hells Katz. Both should be fun games. |

Still rolling onward... we took the #1 spot on the OGL ladder from hk last week, and defended the #15 spot from DP on the TWL ladder. Both games were convincing wins for 20ID, but they were still good games.
We've been scrimming quite regularly now, as clan attendance has been great so far. Things are heating up even more, however... CAL-BF1942 is starting up this sunday, and there is a SquadGames invitational tourney in the works as well. We have 3 upcoming matches: vs OCT on the OGL, vs Warchild for rung #7 on TWL, and vs 101st (the well known DoD clan) in CAL preseason. Busy as ever with BF1942, and loving it. |

About a week ago we beat =USA= on the OGL ladder and moved up to #4, and we are now challenging HK for #1. We play them tomorrow night.
On the TWL ladder, we were challenged by Demise, probably one of the best clans in the game at the moment. They dealt us our first loss in an extremely tight game. The match went to 3 maps, and both 20ID and Demise won one side on each map. Despite 20ID winning the first side on Guadalcanal, Demise pulled out a comeback win by beating us even more on the second side. On Omaha Beach, 20ID secured a win with a lightning fast Axis victory. The tiebreaker map, Bulge, was won by Demise by roughly 12-15 tickets. They won as Axis with a decent amount of tickets, and when we played Axis, we couldn't seem to get rolling fast enough, and didn't quite win by enough.
Still, it was an awesome game, very intense, and a learning experience for 20ID. Aside from a scrim or 2 with TFS and RulZ, we haven't really played any good clans up until this point. Good game Demise, can't wait until we meet again :> |

Lately we've played 2 more BF1942 matches, and won them both. We played F8S on OGL, but they were short by a player or 2 and we ended up walking all over them :/
On TWL last night we defeated RDH on Bocage and Bulge. As allies on Bocage we won quickly and easily... but as Axis we still seem to struggle on that map. RDH built up a significant lead as Allies, but we managed to make an awesome comeback, and win the round as Axis with a mere 3 tickets left. Wow :>
On Bulge we played an excellent game as Allies and won comfortably, even though Axis gets a big advantage. As Axis we had little trouble finishing up the match, as our panzers rolled through their CPs with little resistance. Good game RDH. |

Our first official BF1942 match was a success! We played AoS on the TWL ladder and successfully defended the #15 rung. We won convincingly on both maps, Kursk and Bocage. AoS did manage to put up a good fight as Allies on Bocage, but we still pulled out the victory in all 4 rounds. Good game AoS.

We missed the first round screenshot, the score was 111-0. |

On Sunday October 13th, we had a scrim against TFS. We played one round as allies on Guadalcanal. We tried out some new ideas during this match and it went pretty well. We had some confusion at the beginning, and we need to eliminate that. On the whole, each squad did their job very well.
Our match vs Mobile Infantry was forfeited, due to them not wanting to be on OGL.
We have a match vs Aces of the Sky on Sunday October 20th and a match vs Fate's Minions on Monday October 21st both at 9:30pm EST on TWL and OGL respectively. |

| A Farewell to Reaction Quake3 |

Tonight we play our last ReactionQ3 match, against Team 101. After that we'll be retiring from that community, probably for good. As much as we like the game, it has grown tiresome rather quickly: no one plays on public servers, there aren't enough active clans, and we're just plain bored :/
The decision to leave wasn't a sudden one... When Battlefield 1942 came out, we decided we'd look into it, and if it was worthwhile, we'd stop playing ReactionQ3. Since then, we've played a few BF1942 scrims and found them to be very good fun. Sure, BF1942 could use a patch or 2, but it doesn't look like EA/DICE are abandoning the game, they've announced alot of progress on the upcoming 1.2 patch and seem to be listening to the community. Hopefully the game will only get bigger, as its already pretty big right now :D
Anyways, 20ID would like to thank the few ReactionQ3 clans out there for giving us some fun matches over the past 5 months. Especially RBA, the only clan that beat us :) Farewell ReactionQ3, if you want to find us, look on the BF1942 servers. If you haven't noticed, our BF1942 roster is mainly composed of the best AQ2/RQ3 players, combining people from 20ID, RBA, E and gs. This clan will probably be the ReactionQ3 community's contribution to Battlefield 1942, so we plan to show all those Counterstrike goons where all the REAL skill comes from :> Wish us luck. |

On Tuesday, October 8th we had a scrim with ECE. It was fun, and we learned a lot from playing them. They are very skilled and I look forward to scrimming with them again.
We received a forfeit win on OGL. We're #8 challenging for Mobile Infantry (currently #6). It is scheduled for next Tuesday, October 15th.
We are currently #18 on TWL being challenged by Aces of the Sky (currently #21).
We are still recruiting, so be on the lookout for good players and tell them to come to #20ID and talk to BizZ or Godinc. |

Thursday, October 3rd, we had a fun and successful scrimmage vs. ]MP[. We played on our new server provided by Karmann. We were Allies on Battle of the Bulge. ]MP[, for the most part, was very good and was an agreeable clan to play against. We thank them for the scrim and their professional behavior. We had good turnout and our teamplay was good overall, especially considering it was our first scrimmage. A few notable performances were GodInc and the teamwork combination of Bizz/Draconus/Ducky/Karmann.
On Tuesday, October 8th, we have an OGL match against Xtreme Gamers #8. We also have a scrim against East Coast Elite. The maps to be played are Berlin and Stalingrad. Please be in IRC no later than 8:45pm EST for the scrim, and 10:30pm EST for the match. Check our new private forums provided by Karmann for the strats. |

| Be sure to head on over to http://www.caleague.com/?div=b1942 and sign up for our battlefield 1942 team. The password to join is the same password that gets you into the irc channel #20id-bf1942. We need 2 or 3 more people to start competing and i would like to get a team of atleast 20 for the clan.
Other leagues include STA, TWL and OGL. I would like to get involved in all assuming our team is large enough to handle it and that we have time. OGL will be kept strictly as a training ground for maps, players new tactics and recruits. |

Welcome to the new 20ID webpage, I finally made a new one after like 3 years :> Updating the site won't require FTP access anymore (once I'm done with the PHP scripts anyway).
Anyways, we tried to revive the Q3F team for one last go, but not enough people were interested, so we've decided to put the team to rest. Oh well, I guess we're moving on to other games, like Battlefield 1942 for example. This large-scale online WW2 shooter game was released a few days ago, and it's already got a huge following. As soon as we can get enough players with copies of the game (it's sold out everywhere!), we're going to try competing in that. If you're a close friend of the clan and you want to join us, let GodInc or BizZ know on IRC.
Our Reaction Quake3 team is still doing well, but we're kinda losing interest. The game is fun to play, but there just aren't enough people playing the game right now. Regardless, we're going to keep playing it, at least until we get rolling in Battlefield 1942.
